Jul 29, 2022 By Jennifer Roy

From Chateau Marmont to Soho Malibu Beach house, your favorite celebrities are frequenting hot new spots in LA that you may or may not know about but which are soon to be on your list of places to visit. Aside from palm trees, forever beach days, and endless summers, many visitors come to Los Angeles, California, hoping to spot a celebrity. Even though Hollywood Boulevard is sometimes crowded with tourists, unless you happen to be in town for a Hollywood film premiere, you're more likely to see the name of your favorite superstar on a star on the Walk of Fame than in person.

You might be surprised to find that your chances of running into a celebrity are higher if you do things like normal people in the city where they live, like going out to eat, shopping for groceries, relaxing on the beach, or getting a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Here we have compiled a list of 6 destinations where you're more likely to spot celebrities.

Chateau Marmont

The renowned Chateau Marmont can be found at 8221 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, 90046. By day, it's a popular spot for business meetings for influential people in the industry, and by night, it's a hotspot for celebrities. When celebrities are in town, they frequently choose to stay in opulent suites and bungalows. You can catch them dining in the upscale restaurant or enjoying a drink at the chic cocktail bar.

Get your reservations in order because people from the drama series The OC are frequently seen enjoying some of the excellent food at Chateau Marmont Restaurant Patio, so you might run into them when you eat there. You might even notice an Olsen twin sharing a cup of coffee. Celebrities like the drummer of Led Zeppelin, John Bonham, once drove a motorcycle through the lobby of the hotel.

Celebrities like Lana Del Rey, Julianna Hough, and Lady Gaga continue to be drawn to the hotel by its illustrious past to dine there or stay in one of their renowned bungalows.

Giorgio Baldi

In Malibu, the family-run Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi, near the seaside and one block from PCH, is well-known for being a hotspot for celebrity sightings. They offer some of the most mouthwatering meals in the town, including a plate of burrata that is certain to get your saliva flowing. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Victoria, and David Beckham have all found it to be an attractive dining location even though it has been open since 1979 and is still off-the-radar for many.

Nobu

Located up the coast off Pacific Coast Highway, Nobu has long been known for its celebrity clientele. The Japanese restaurant has branches worldwide, but because of its outside dining with expansive ocean views, the new Malibu site on PCH has become especially attractive to celebrities. Any celebrity magazine you pick up will surely have images of famous people leaving this Malibu restaurant.

If you're considering going to Nobu, it's worth it for the mouthwatering array of sushi and sashimi masterpieces, but it may become pricey. Visitors frequently spot Nobu devotees like Robert De Niro (who owns a share of the restaurant), Kris Jenner and her entourage, the Schwarzeneggers, Justin Bieber, and Kenny G.

Craig's

If you want to bump into a celebrity, go to Craig's near Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. This fine-dining restaurant is famous due to the high probability of celebrities visiting there to enjoy their exquisite food. The best bread is served at this popular Hollywood restaurant, which you will appreciate even more as you catch the eye of a celebrity dreamboat.

On any given night, Kendall Jenner, Gigi, Bella Hadid, Rachel Zoe, or Mariah Carey may be spotted at this American-style restaurant. In addition, Joe Jonas, Caitlyn Jenner, Kate Upton, Iggy Azalea, and even Judge Judy have been photographed at the popular WeHo restaurant.

Gelson's Market

Going grocery shopping at Gelson's Market on Franklin can be the spark you need to get excited about seeing celebrities again if you're tired of hanging out at high-end restaurants from Beverly Hills to Malibu. At the deli counter, you might run into Jon Hamm, or Alison Brie might catch your attention as she goes to get some almond milk. These Hollywood celebrities frequently shop at this supermarket for their requirements at home. Consider taking a trip to Los Angeles with some of the investment money you have stashed away in the bank.

Beverly Hills Hotel

If money is not an issue during your trip to Los Angeles, staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel (9641 Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Hills 90210) is recommended. Almost every celebrity you can think of has either stayed inside the walls of the renowned pink stucco façade or enjoyed a drink at the Polo Lounge. According to reports, Liz Taylor stayed in the hotel's bungalows for six of her honeymoons. At the Beverly Hills Hotel, famous people were observed, including Kim Kardashian, Michael Douglas, Nicole Kidman, Warren Beatty, and many more. A quick stroll around the grounds or a quick break in the lobby will do if you cannot pay for a stay or lunch at the Polo Lounge.

Soho Malibu beach house

The elegant Italian restaurant, which is situated in the opulent celebrity hangout Soho Beach House in Miami Beach, delivers flavorful contemporary versions of traditional Italian cuisine.

Soho House already has a reputation for having celebrity members, having a long waiting list, and having a stringent no-photo policy. Still, the brand-new, ultra-exclusive Malibu branch makes it even harder to get in. Visitors have access through underground parking along Sunset Boulevard for the utmost security. Diana Ross, Tracy Ellis Ross, Kourtney Kardashian, and Paula Patton, among others, have all been observed perusing the Sunday brunch buffet, lounging in the sunshine, and admiring the picturesque coastline. Going is worthwhile if you can get in.
